"Hi, my name is Dennis Römgens and I am the Head of Sales for Charging Solutions at Mercedes‑Benz Mobility AG. The purpose of my team is to inform, train and ultimately delight our internal and external customers with regards to all aspects of charging.

Our diverse team with multi-faceted backgrounds is thereby using a wide variety of communication channels, formats and methods to drive our topics together with our stakeholders - inside and outside of Mercedes‑Benz.

No matter if we talk about convenient public charging, solutions, smart charging integration at home, or innovative fleet solutions for business customers. Our goal: Provide the most compelling charging ecosystem for the most desirable cars for our customers worldwide

Personally, I started as part of an international trainee group at Mercedes‑Benz AG within Marketing & Sales in 2017. Throughout this journey, I was able to conduct several projects across all sales levels and different geographical regions worldwide, showing me the diverse needs and demands of our customers across the globe.

Being the product manager for our MBUX infotainment system and Mercedes me Charge along my career path represents something different for me: The importance of continuously challenging the Status Quo, in order to achieve the best results for our customers. Those experiences and learnings I am still using and holding on to today.

The best thing about my current Job? First of all, working in this fast-paced and volatile electromobility environment has many exciting aspects. Every single day, I meet great people, dive into innovative topics and learn something new.

But what is particularly special about my role, is the unique opportunity to create a real impact together with the team. Not just on any topic, but on one of the most challenging topics of our time: The transformation of mobility, as well as directly supporting our strategic corporate goal of a fully electric future at Mercedes‑Benz.

This deep sense of purpose connected to our common efforts motivates me and makes me proud every single day.”
