Mercedes pay is the central platform and the competence center for transacting cash payments at Daimler. Mercedes pay was launched in its first markets in September 2018. It is now active in 35 countries on four continents, where it concludes transactions for Daimler e-commerce products and services worldwide. The Mercedes me Connect Store is an example of this.

Experts at Mercedes pay in Stuttgart and Berlin are working on ways to enable our online business models to be monetized. That these efforts are successful has already been demonstrated by numerous projects and products. Among other things, we are integrating Daimler’s Mercedes pay digital e-payment platform into numerous Daimler-Group applications. The global platform enables users to make in-car payments for parking and Mercedes me services as well as conveniently conclude app-based payment transactions at gas stations.

In the future, we want the contact with Mercedes pay and the payment transactions on the global platform to be as seamless for our customers as possible. Ideally, the payment process will occur without any additional action on the part of the customer so that he or she can focus fully on purchasing and using our services. We are also working on additional products and solutions in order to provide customers with an even better user and payment experience and at the same time increase the number of our customer touchpoints. Plans also call for the gradual integration of additional products and services from the Daimler Group.
