Social responsibility is one of our core values and is firmly anchored in our value system. Social commitment is part of our culture and is lived by our employees worldwide. They are the ones who help to actively shape social projects at our locations. Every year, more initiatives and more volunteers join us.
Daimler Mobility thinks global and acts local
The focus is on promoting projects and programmes at our locations. The activities are varied and include donations, sponsorships, large volunteer campaigns or smaller team initiatives. We are just as proud of our involvement in the community as we are of our business success. In addition to social projects, we also support cultural initiatives in order to gain new impulses and perspectives.
For the first time Daimler Mobility combines the two core values of "Sustainability" and "Financial and Social Responsibility" in one global initiative in 2020. We commit four weeks in autumn to green volunteering initiatives. We are proud of our culture of volunteering where employees can actively participate. Our employees can take part in lunch & learn lectures, local and digital cleanup campaigns and other "green" activities. During the "Green Month of Caring" public places were cleared of garbage and disposable plastic was avoided. Employees from all over the world contributed to the Green Month of Caring.
Daimler Mobility supports diversity
Diversity is not just a matter of concern for us, but we are actively shaping it. Employees from 100 different nations enrich our culture. We promote intercultural understanding, respect for one another, openness and willingness to change within the company with numerous initiatives, as well as non-profit organizations that advocate it.
