July 16, 2019 - All good things come in threes: for the third time, Mercedes-Benz Bank and Daimler Financial Services were the main sponsors of the international dance festival COLOURS (27.06.-14.07.) in Stuttgart. The series of events initiated by choreographer Eric Gauthier again moved young and old. We take a look back.
Moved by Mercedes-Benz Bank: COLOURS brought internationally renowned dance companies to the Theaterhaus and hot moves to the city centre of Stuttgart.
True to the COLOURS motto "Dance for all", not only professional dancers but also dance enthusiasts were part of the festival. 13 colleagues joined Eric Gauthier in the lunch break to rehearse the "Fan Dance".
Then, dancers from Gauthier Dance and employees of Mercedes-Benz Bank stood on stage at "COLOURS in the City" on the Stuttgart market square and presented the "Fan Dance" to around 3,000 spectators.
We are pioneers: As the main sponsor, 800 colleagues from Mercedes-Benz Bank, Daimler Financial Services and Daimler AG were able to enjoy the exclusive COLOURS preview at the Theaterhaus on the eve of the COLOURS premiere.
The festival opener "Classy Classics" was a great success - as was the charming welcome by festival director and brand ambassador Eric Gauthier and the new CEO of Mercedes-Benz Bank, Benedikt Schell.
Moving wildly: At the COLOURS Family Day at Wilhelma on 14 July, the kids showed their skills side by side with the professional dancers from Gauthier Dance.
Our COLOURS fan advanced to the it-piece of the summer during the entire festival and brought a breath of fresh air to the "Kessel".
With around 18,800 visitors in the Theaterhaus and many sold out performances, COLOURS was a complete success with the audience and the media.
