Daimler Mobility AG provides the following statement regarding the targets set in light of the "Act on Equal Participation of Women and Men in Leadership Positions in the Private and Public Sector": last year, new targets for the year 2025 were resolved by the responsible bodies of Daimler Mobility AG. The status quo at the end of 2020 and the targets for 2020 and 2025 are shown in the following tables.
The targets for the Supervisory Board, the Executive Board, and the first management level below the Executive Board were exceeded as of the 12/2020 status quo. Despite an increase in the absolute number of female executives, an increase in the basic population of all executives at the second management level below the Executive Board resulted in a reduction in the percentage of women from 29.5% (status quo at the time of target setting in 2016) to 25%. The reasons for the target shortfall at this level are primarily the departure of several female executives due to parental leave, severance programs, and transfers to other areas of the Daimler Group. Furthermore, when filling vacancies, necessary internal reintegration and relocations had an effect on the quota of female executives.
